WORSHIP ARTS MINISTRY

The worship arts ministry is made up of several components. Each are part of Sunday morning worship services and extend to other worship events.
Vocal and Musical Team
This group meets Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. to rehearse songs used for Sunday mornings. Supplies are available for each person to rehearse throughout the week so that they are prepared to do their best on Sunday.
Skilled Vocalists and musicians are always needed. There are some prior considerations for potential vocalist and musicians. Vocalists should be able to sing on key and keep appropriate timing. Musicians need intermediate and advanced abilities.
Multi Media Operators
Leader: Jim Hatten
This is a big part of the FCC worship experience. Multi-media is made up of a team of people who operate the computer, using software for Easy worship and PowerPoint for both lyrics and sermon slide presentation. The Media operators works closely with Sound technician and minister.
Communion Preparations
Leader: Lynne Hatten
This weekly scheduled service group prepares the communion trays (grape juice and bread) for worship services.
Sound
This team is made up of volunteers who operate the sound board for services, special events, and rehearsals. Sound operators are generally people who have a natural tone quality that distinguished between highs, lows, and volume. Training is required. Sound operators work closely with Media operators and minister.
Drama
Leader: needed
This group of people will perform skits, build props, and make costumes for services or special events.
Multi-media Design
Leader: needed
This is a relatively new part of worship arts. Video clips, photos, and power point presentations are widely used throughout the worship services, other events and visual communications. Therefore, we’re assembling a group of people to help with Videography, Video editing, photography, graphics design, and power point presentations. Training is offered to those who want to help with specific areas of media design.
Communion Servers
Leader: Ken Presley
This is group of people who help distribute the Lord’s Supper and collect offerings during a worship service.
