Helping everyone feel welcome and glad they came to worship services or events.
Volunteers will share the joy of helping those that God brings to attend on Sundays or special events, welcoming everyone who comes through the doors by giving a warm hello, handing out bulletins and directing visitors to the Welcome Center.
Welcome Center
Team Leader: needed
Helping every new-comer feel welcome and appreciated at FCC by giving them a warm handshake and hello. At the Welcome Center, volunteers will make sure information about First Christian Church is readily available to hand out. Volunteers will offer new-comers a welcome gift and ask them if they would sign our guest book. They will also direct guests to someone who can show them areas of the church applicable to their needs.
Facility Tour
Team Leader: needed
Facility tour ministry helps every new comer become familiar with facilities applicable to their needs. Volunteers will offer new comers a tour of facilities that is appropriate to their needs and ages, and give them a diagram of the church’s floor plan.
Connect Café
Team Leaders: Grace and Duane Elwell.
This ministry provides a relaxed atmosphere where people can build friendships as they enjoy beverages and breakfast items.
Volunteers will prepare and serve a variety beverages and breakfast items and clean the Connect Café area and kitchen.
