The Experience
When you experience an FCC Sunday Gathering, expect to be greeted at the door by a friendly face who can help direct you where you need to go. Our members can help you find a cup of coffee and a pastry. They know where to take you to check your children into our age appropriate, safe, and fun children's area. Your children, if you choose to place them in the children's area will learn lessons through drama, music, lessons, games, and hands on activities. You can expect them to have fun while learning.
When you go into our family room for service you can expect to see a room full of people who are visiting with one another. You can expect a few "hello's", and "nice to meet you's." As the gathering begins, you'll hear our worship band playing songs that inspire your heart. The music will be energetic, and you'll usually see a full band on stage. You can choose to join in and sing right away, or to just enjoy the music as you listen. During the service we'll take communion, and, if you're comfortable, feel free to join us in that opportunity. We'll also take an offering from our regulars. If FCC isn't what you would consider your church home, we don't expect you to put anything in the offering plate. As you just read; offering is for our regulars.
As the speaker begins, you can expect Bible teaching that makes sense in our culture. Our teachings come straight from scripture, and we apply them to everyday life. Most of the time we teach through a book of the Bible over the course of several weeks. We do that on purpose, because we choose to teach the truths of God rather than the traditions of man. You can expect to enjoy the message, and you can expect to have a way to apply it to your life when you leave.
We look forward to seeing you in a gathering, and we hope to meet your expectations.
